In Q1 2023, the top 5 business apps on the Android platform in Ireland displayed varied performance metrics. Here’s a closer look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Microsoft Teams showed a robust increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 594 in late December and peaking at 4.5K in mid-January. The app’s active users also saw a significant rise, starting from 88.1K and reaching up to 176.5K by late March.

Microsoft Authenticator experienced consistent weekly downloads, with figures fluctuating between 721 and 4.4K throughout the quarter. The active user base for the app steadily grew from 40.1K to 67.2K over the same period.

For ID-Pal, weekly downloads started strong at 12.1K in late December but gradually decreased to around 1.2K by the end of March. Despite the decline, ID-Pal maintained a presence in the top 5.

Zoom Workplace saw an upward trend in both downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads peaked at 2.8K in mid-January, while revenue experienced a steady increase, reaching approximately $742 by the end of March. Active users also showed growth, starting from 5.3K and rising to 9.5K.

An Post had a notable surge in weekly downloads, peaking at 3.2K in mid-January. Although the numbers varied throughout the quarter, the app maintained a steady presence with downloads ranging between 320 and 2.5K.
